Se trabajo con muestras de alumnos escolarizados en el sistema ordinario y alumnos de integracion. Se adopto la tecnica del analisis de casos y el analisis de contenido en los protocolos del \u00abpensamiento en voz alta\u00bb, elaborados a partir de entrevistas semiestructuradas.  los resultados de la investigacion son aplicables a la ense\u00f1anza en el aula, a la formacion de futuros profesores y al desarrollo profesional de los profesores en activo.  conclusiones especificas de esta investigacion son:  1. Los alumnos de escolarizacion ordinaria se benefician mas del metodo que los alumnos de integracion.  2. Las estrategias que identifican el metodo son:  autopreguntarse, visualizar y estimar.  3.
