Para el modelo de calculo radiactivo, se ha utilizado el codigo de ordenadas discretas (disort) en combinacion con un codigo de scattering de mie, considerando en todas las regiones estudiadas scattering multiple. Las regiones estudiadas son: la gran mancha roja: se han obtenido conclusiones sobre su altura frente al resto de estructuras nubosas de la atmosfera asi como sobre las propiedades opticas de las particulas que la forman. Tambien se han estudiado las regiones polares, que presentan una capa opticamente gruesa de aerosoles, realizandose asimismo un estudio sobre el mecanismo que los originan. Se ha estudiado la estructura vertical de particulas depositadas tras el impacto del cometa shoemaker-levy 9 contra jupiter.
