El metodo utilizado ha sido el filologico, combinado con los procedimientos de tecnica linguistica mas actuales: se han elegido las vias de la sinonimia, polisemia, teorias contextuales y, principalmente el estructuralismo, con sus oposiciones y neutralizaciones.  la investigacion es sincronica y diacronica a la vez, puesto que para cada sintagma cromatico se rastrean precedentes hasta homero mismo y el micenico. Estos procederes o vias de investigacion se complementan con un metodo contrastivo, mediante la confrontacion de nueve traducciones de cada sintagma de color a las lenguas modernas: 2 inglesas, dos alemanas, dos francesas, una latina y dos castellanas. El pivote central de la tesis es demostrar lo intimamente ligado que esta el uso del color en teocrito al estilo y, sobre todo, a los contenidos de supoesia.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
