Phaseolicola. La enfermedad de la \u00abgrasa\u00bb en la zona productora de judias de la provincia de leon esta originada principalmente por la raza 1 de la bacteria. Entre los aislados 1 y 2 existe variabilidad genetica que es independiente de la variedad patogenica. Se han desarrollado dos tecnicas moleculares de identificacion de ambas razas 1 y 2 del patogeno, el empleo del oligoncleotido opb7 para la obtencion de una banda de 1,2 kb especifica de la raza 1 mediante rapd-pcr y el uso de los oligonucleotidos rp-1 y rp-2 para la obtencion de bandas unicas de 1,2 kb y 2,7 kb especificas para las razas 1 y 2 respectivamente, mediante pcr. La infeccion de cotiledones permite de forma rapida y efectiva la caracterizacion de una variedad de judia como resistente o susceptible a las razas del patogeno habiendose determinado la resistencia de la variedad de judia aceite a la raza 1 de la bacteria.
