Luisa De <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>A traves de la obra de freire (1959-1992) investigamos dos problemas educativos fundamentales en el mundo moderno: la formacion humana y el adiestramiento para la profesion. Siguiendo a gadamer recuperamos el concepto de formacion humana, el del sentido comun y el de la vivencia. Junto a jaeger se muestra el escenario donde la idea de formacion fue concretamente posible.  siguiendo a mandeville y a smith observamos el cambio de valores en el que la politica es subsumida por el dominio de la economia; se caracteriza la educacion moderna como adiestramiento para servir al mercado. Tomando a weber encontramos los elementos culturales que, conformaron la sociedad capitalista moderna en los que se descubre el concepto de profesion.  la obra de freire es estrategica; al valorar el sentido comun y la vivencia recupera aspectos entra\u00f1ados en la formacion humana. Pese a sus ambiguedades, al valorar el saber politico construido en la practica se\u00f1ala hacia la formacion humana.
