Como fin ultimo de dicha descripcion se aborda la prediccion cualitativa y cuantitativa de transiciones de fase (transicion liquido-vapor y liquido-liquido). El estudio se desarrolla en tres frentes: fluidos simples con interacciones de tres cuerpos, fluidos moleculares modelados a traves de potenciales realistas, y mezclas.  el tratamiento teorico empleado se circunscribe a la utilizacion de las llamadas teorias de ecuaciones integrales, en concreto las aproximaciones hnc (hypernetted chain) y rhnc (reference hypernetted chain), las cuales se adaptan a cada uno de los tres casos mencionados y cuyo algoritmo numerico de solucion se mejora con el fin de posibilitar una sustancial reduccion de tiempo de maquina. Por lo que respecta a las tecnicas de simulacion, se ha hecho uso del metodo de simulacion de monte carlo en el colectivo de gibbs (equilibrio liquido-gas).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
