Jose <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Ftsa, proteina esencial en el ciclo de division celular de escherichia coli, comparte homolog\u00eda de estructura con proteinas pertenecientes a la familia de actina, gracias a esta homolog\u00eda y a que se conocia la estructura tridimensional de la actina, se pudo hacer un modelo tridimensional para ftsa.Este modelo queda confirmado en esta tesis en dos aspectos, la capacidad de union de atp de ftsa y la implicacion en esta union de un residuo altamente conservado en todos los miembros de la familia de actina, la glicina-336. Por otro lado se ha determinado la existencia de al menos dos estados de fosforilacion diferentes para la proteina, siendo el blanco de esta modificacion la treonina-215, residuo igualmente conservado en las proteinas que pertenecen a la familia de actina.
