Victoria <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Se ha realizado un estudio sobre el comportamiento farmacocinetico y la bioequiValencia de la suxibuzona y sus metabolitos activos, fenilbutazona y oxifenbutazona tras la administracion de suxibuzona por via intravenosa y oral (pasta y granulado) a 6 caballos. Tambien se ha estudiado la disposicion de dichas sustancias en liquidos sinovial y saliva. Tras la administracion intravenosa no se detectaron niveles de suxibuzona a partir de los veinte minutos post-administracion ni niveles detectables de suxibuzona en ninguna de las muestras de liquido sinovial y saliva. Las concentraciones plasmaticas del metabolismo fenilbutazona (mrt=417,5 min y cmax 16,43 ug\/ml a los 45,8 min) resultaron superiores a las alcanzadas por la oxifenbutazona (mrt=639,3 min). Durante las primeras 12 horas post-administracion, y ambas alcanzaron valores detectables durante al menos 24 horas.  tras la administracion oral no se detectaron valores plasmaticos del principio activo, las concentraciones plasmaticas de los metabolitos se mantienen por encima de las ci50 durante al menos 12 horas. Los resultados sobre la biodisponibilidad relativa mostraron una ligera superioridad para la forma farmaceutica de pasta, estableciendose la bioequiValencia de las dos formas farmaceuticas estudiadas.
