confrontacion profunda entre el confucionismo practico del siglo xviii y la ilustracion europea.En la primera parte se analiza el surgimiento de esta corriente del confucionismo, desde sus origenes en confucio y el confucionismo primitivo hasta la transicion moderna a traves del pensamiento de shi-xve con su vision del hombre, del mundo cientifico y de la politica.En la segunda parte se reflejan las ideas fundamentales de la ilustracion, centradas en la naturaleza, la sociedad civil, la libertad, el individualismo.En la tercera se intenta poner de relieve el paralelismo entre concepto basicos de ambas cosmovisiones: la etica religiosa, la etica moral, el reconocimiento de la individualidad, el enfasis en la etica practica y politica desde el ideal de justicia y de bien
