La muestra para el estudio consto de:  &#8211; 63 ni\u00f1os perinatalmente infectados por el hiv &#8211; 57 ni\u00f1os perinatalmente expuestos pero no infectados por el hiv &#8211; 68 madres infectadas, de las cuales 31 transmitieron la infeccion a su hijo, mientras que las 37 restantes no se lo transmitieron.  &#8211; un panel control de 175 individuos sanos espa\u00f1oles no relacionados.  se determino el fenotipo hla a los individuos de la muestra: los antigenos hla de clase i por tecnicas de serolog\u00eda clasica, mientras que los de clase ii (dr) mediante tecnicas de genetica molecular.  posteriormente se realizo el analisis estadistico mediante la determinacion de x2 de yates, y el calculo del riesgo relativo (rr), fraccion etiologica (d) y fraccion preventiva (fp), para asignar los antigenos hla implicados en la susceptibilidad\/resistencia en la infeccion perinatal del hiv.  se concluye que:  &#8211; existe una susceptibilidad genetica ligada al sistema hla en la transmision vertical del hiv.  &#8211; hla-b35 es un factor de riesgo en la transmision vertical del hiv, y de acuerdo con otros estudios realizados en otros grupos de riesgo, es un factor de riesgo independiente de la ruta de contagio.  &#8211; la causa mas probable del riesgo en los individuos hla-b35 positivos es poseer una ineficaz respuesta citotoxica, probablemente debido a una presentacion antigenica defectuosa de dicha molecula hla.  &#8211; se implica al haplotipo hla-a11-b35-cw4-dr4 como factor de riesgo en la transmision vertical del hiv.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
