Melonagaster ha sido considerado como poco frecuente y por este motivo existen pocos estudios sobre este tema. Sin embargo, en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se han encontrado varias cepas y poblaciones entre las que la hibridaci\u00f3n se produce con facildiad, lo que permite realizar an\u00e1lisis gen\u00e9ticos de los sistemas que est\u00e1n relacionados con la frecuencia de apareamiento interespec\u00edfico y el desarrollo de los h\u00edbridos.En el presente trabajo se ha estimado la base gen\u00e9tica del aislamiento entre estos dos especies en hembras y machos de d.
