Las investigaciones realizadas han cristalizado en nuevos metodos fi-espectrofotometricos sensibles, exactos, selectivos y precisos para la determinacion de las especies n-acetilcisteina, penicilamina, tiopronina, captopril, los antibioticos ampicilina y amoxicilina, los antitiroideos metimazol y carbimazol, las sulfonamidas furosemida y sulfatiazol, las cefalosporinas cefradina y ceftazidima. Los nuevos metodos introducidos se han aplicado con excelentes resultados analiticos para la determinacion de todas las especies en diversos productos farmaceuticos que los contienen. Las especies cefradina y ceftazidima se han analizado tambien en orina humana y el antitiroideo metimazol en orina humana y en piensos de animales destinados al consumo
