Subsp. Salzmanii (dunal) franco. Se analizan tres sistemas de transferencia de genes diferentes, uno biologico (agrobacterium tumefaciens) y dos directos (electroporacion de protoplastos y bombardeo de particulas). Se ha demostrado la capacidad de los exudados de p.Nigra para inducir la respuesta de virulencia de a. Tumefaciens. Los mejores resultados de expresion del gen gusa con el promotor del gen de la poliubiquitina de girasol (ubb1) con la deleccion 1. Este es el primer trabajo en el que se demuestra la posibilidad de aumentar la expresion de los genes introducidos mediante la introduccion de secuencias intronicas.
