Ambas microestructuras se caracterizan por sus buenas propiedades tecnologicas tales como elevada dureza y buena resistencia al desgaste en seco y lubricado. Para el analisis de la zona tratada se uso microscopia optica y para la evaluacion de los efectos cualitativos del tratamiento se emplearon medidas de microdureza y ensayos de desgaste. Posteriormente se hizo un analisis fractografico de la superficie desgastada por medio de microscopia electronica de barrido (sem) para determinar los mecanismos de desgaste presentes en las
