Se desarrollan varios modelos analiticos y numericos, en los que se tienen en cuenta las complejas relaciones constitutivas del material hormigon en procesos de plastificacion con fisuracion. Estos modelos permiten estimar el crecimiento de las fisuras en funcion de la expansion inducida. Su buena concordancia con la realidad, queda avalada a traves del modelo experimental construido al efecto, con el que se han simulado los efectos mecanicos de la expansion de la armadura.  finalmente, y basado en la modelizacion y experimentacion realizados, se proponen unas leyes de aplicacion practica dirigidas al dise\u00f1o de elementos estructurales de hormigon armado y pretensado,
