Analiza, por tanto, la ense\u00f1anza musical en el marco educativo de la espa\u00f1a contemporanea y la formacion inicial del profesorado de la ense\u00f1anza primaria. Asimismo, se realiza un estudio pormenorizado de una serie de agrupaciones musicales (coros, corales, orfeones y bandas de musica) que han actuado como verdaderos centros de educacion musical en tenerife.  el estudio experimental, de las bandas de musica del valle de guimar, demuestra que en el panorama musical de canarias, junto a la actividad coral y a las agrupaciones folcloricas, son las bandas de musica las que cuentan con mas apoyo popular.  los programas de sus conciertos han contribuido a la divulgacion de numerosas obras musicales.
