Asi, en el capitulo 1 se proporciona una introducion general al tema y se situa dentro de su contexto historico. En el capitulo 2 se estudia la sintesis, utilizando distribuciones fisicamente realizables, de una abertura circular para la obtencion de un diagrama diferencia doble (para aplicaciones \u00abeccm\u00bb) con control individual sobre cada lobulo lateral. este tipo de control es de especial interes para la cancelacion de interferencias no deseadas. En el capitulo 3 se hace un estudio sobre el compromiso optimo entre diagramas suma y diferencia (para aplicaciones con radar de tipo monopulso) utilizando arrays lineales. La utilizacion de los algoritmos geneticos garantiza una solucion optima, con resultados muy superiores a todos los presentes en la literatura, utilizando un tiempo de computacion bajo. Finalmente, en el capitulo 4 se introducen tecnicas muy novedosas para la sintesis de arrays de antenas, consiguiendo sintetizar diagramas con bajo nivel de lobulos laterales, modificando la excitaci\u00f3n de una peque\u00f1a proporcion de elementos radiantes, manteniendo el resto de ellos con amplitud uniforme. Esto es de vital importancia para la implementacion fisica de dicha antena, ya que simplifica su red de alimentacion y garantiza el maximo de potencia en el lobulo
