En primer lugar se hace un analisis detallado de la influencia de la curvatura de los rayos de luz en los calculos del retraso de las se\u00f1ales del radar en el sistema solar, tanto desde el punto de vista habitual (geodesicas nulas con momento angular constante) como utilizando el principio de fermat. Este estudio se extiende a sistemas binarios eclipsantes de diferentes tipos, considerando la metrica de schwarzschild y, en su caso, la de kerr. En particular hay que destacar la obtencion de la curva de luz (flujo frente a tiempo de llegada) de las se\u00f1ales de un pulsar en orbita alrededor de un agujero negro en un caso bastante realista. Todas estas aportaciones, esencialmente teoricas o fenomenologicas, se ven complementadas por un excelente trabajo observacional que ha llevado a la determinacion, con una exactitud desconocida hasta ahora, del retraso asociado a la lente gravitatoria 0957+561. Este dato experimental ha permitido inferir, usando modelos teoricos de la literatura, un valor para la constante de hubble que esta de acuerdo con otras estimaciones
