Posteriormente en el siglo xiv seria en el norte de europa donde se define la iconografia en peque\u00f1os grupos escultoricos denominados vesperbilds y en las miniaturas de origen francesas, teniendo como base las narraciones espirituales desarrolladas por los misticos franco-alemanes. Ya en el siglo xv la pintura flamenca enriqueceria el motivo iconografico a\u00f1adiendole nuevos personajes, que fueron constante a lo largo de toda la evolucion iconografica del tema. Precisamente la llegada de artistas norte\u00f1os, especialmente los flamencos a la corte castellana ayudaria a la incorporacion de este motivo en el mundo artistico espa\u00f1ol. En el ambito sevillano, se incorporaria a finales del siglo xv con la llegada de artistas de la talla de fernandez o millan.  a partir de este momento el arte local iria definiendo un modelo que culminaria en la etapa barroca a traves de la obra pictorica de murillo, que aunque basado en esquemas compositivos flamencos e italianos, daria una interpretacion estetica impregnada de naturalismo que seria imitado por los pintores del momento. Durante el siglo xviii el motivo se popularizara en el arte sevillano, a\u00f1adiendole elementos ornamentales propio del mundo dieciochesco.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la
