En el caso del acido 2-furoico la oxidacion, se realiza en medio acuoso y en ausencia de oxigeno, utilizando dioxido de titanio, lo que constituye un nuevo metodo de oxidacion por la accion de la especie oxigeno singulete que se genera \u00abin situ\u00bb. En el caso del tolueno y de la 6- y la 8-metilquinolina se detectan en general productos de oxidacion de la cadena alquilica (aldehidos, alcoholes y acidos), productos de hidroxilacion de los anillos aromaticos y mineralizacion de los sustratos. En el caso de la 4-picolina se produce mineralizacion pero no oxidacion parcial. Para el 1,4-pentanodiol se consigue la oxidacion selectiva del hidroxilo primario mediante el uso de un titanato de zirconio.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis doctoral
