En este trabajo se plantean dos grandes alternativas farmacologicas de modulacion de la respuesta antitumoral del huesped. Por un lado, la inhibicion de factores endogenos con actividad supresora, como las prostaglandinas, o de factores con capacidad moduladora de la respuesta inmunitaria, para conocer su influencia in vivo en el animal portador de tumor. Por otra parte, es posible activar selectivamente celulas con capacidad de rechazo frente a las celulas tumorales, con el fin de potenciar la respuesta celular efectora en el animal portador de tumor,
