Se ha propuesto y estudiado un procedimiento para la determinacion simultanea de carbaril y naftol en muestras de agua utilizando la preconcentracion en fase solida y elucion en linea. Partiendo de esta misma estrategia se ha puesto a punto un metodo automatico para la determinacion de cafeina en bebidas refrescantes empleando el tandem efs\/irtf.  la problematica de la determinacion de aceites, grasas e hidrocarburos en aguas por espectrometria ir se ha estudiado detalladamente proponiendo un metodo para la extraccion liquido- liquido asistida por microondas de este tipo de polutantes.  a traves de una minuciosa revision bibliografica se ha estudiado el desarrollo y estado actual del acoplamiento entre la cromatografia liquida y la espectrometria infrarroja,
