Se han clonado 86 fragmentos de dna con identidad de secuencia con receptores nucleares indicando la presencia de los mismos en todos los phyla de metazoos excepto en esponjas.  asimismo, se han podido localizar los dos momentos de duplicacion genica que se han producido en la evolucion de la superfamilia y se ha postulado la hipotesis de que el receptor nuclear ancestral debio tratarse de un receptor huerfano. Una segunda parte del trabajo ha sido la caracterizacion de los receptores hallados en schistosoma mansoni. Se han aislado clones genomicos de los receptores tipo tr4 y rxr y dos clones diferentes de cdna de rxr. Tambien se ha estudiado la expresion de smrxr durante el desarrollo del parasito y la localizacion de la misma mediante la tecnica de hibridacion in situ.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
