Un pigmento ceramico es una sustancia inorganica cuya estructura cristalina sea estable a alta temperatura y presenta resistencia al choque termico. La mullita es un compuesto que cumple estos requerimientos. El objetivo de esta tesis es el estudio de materiales compuestos de mullita y una fase cromofora espinela nial2o4 o coal2o4 para su uso como sistemas pigmentantes. En este estudio se han aplicado tecnicas de sintesis sol-gel para obtener los materiales a baja temperatura y con el desarrollo microestructural mas adecuado a su aplicacion.  en la caracterizacion de estos materiales se han aplicado las tecnicas habituales: difraccion de rayos-x, analisis termico, espectroscopia ir, espectroscopia ultravioleta-visible y microscopia electronica. De esta forma ha sido posible seguir la reactividad de los sistemas y las microestructuras por introduccion de ti4+ y ni2+ en la mullita.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
