Para su estudio se ha aplicado el control vectorial, utilizado en el area de maquinas electricas y cada vez mas popular en el control de rectificadores trifasicos. La tesis presenta un modelo del rectificador simplificado e independiente del tiempo, lo cual simplifica su control, que es parecido al del convertidor buck dc-dc. Tambien se ha estudiado como afecta la utilizacion de un modulador pwm clasico en un sistema trifasico. El estudio teorico se plasma en el dise\u00f1o de un prototipo con introduccion de soluciones particulares a la correccion del factor de desplazamiento. Por ultimo se ha estudiado una nueva tecnica de conmutacion suave que reduce drasticamente los picos de tension que sufren los interruptores al conmutar la corriente que por ellos circula y por tanto
