En el trabajo aparecen cuatro nuevas contribuciones a este campo del procesado digital de la se\u00f1al. La primera aportacion ha sido dar una aplicacion de los sistemas adaptativos para la determinacion de puntos caracteristicos en un ecg y, mas concretamente, en el final de la onda t. La segunda contribucion ha sido el desarrollo de un procedimiento totalmente general para incrementar la velocidad de los sistemas adaptativos y consiste en aprovechar el tiempo muerto intermuestral para mejorar la convergencia del filtro adaptativo. El nuevo algoritmo propuesto ha sido aplicado en la eliminacion del ruido de red en un ecg y en la determinacion del ecg fetal.  la tercera aportacion es el desarrollo de nuevos algoritmos recursivos. Los algoritmos desarrollados se han usado en la determinacion del ecg fetal obteniendose mejores resultados que aplicando el clasico lms. Por ultimo se ha planteado un nuevo metodo de poda en redes neuronales basado en a\u00f1adir a la funcion de error terminos de penalizacion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
