realizado se ha dise\u00f1ado un procedimiento de simulacion estocastica de eventos en una red de distribucion electrica de media tension y se ha implementado en una computadora digital.Partiendo de las tasas de fallo y tiempos de reposicion de servicio de los componentes de la red se obtienen los indices de calidad al uso en sistemas de distribucion y las distribuciones de probabilidad del \u00abtiempo hasta la interrupcion\u00bb y \u00abtiempo de indisponibilidad\u00bb de cada punto carga de la red de distribucion analizada.Estos resultados permiten obtener el tiempo de indisponibilidad maximo provocado por una interrupcion y la duracion minima y maxima transcurrida entre interrupciones, como nuevos indices de calidad que enfocan el problema de la fiabilidad desde el
