Angeles <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>La condensacion de beta-aminoalcoholes o de alfa-aminoesteres de estereoquimica definida con aldehido isoftalico constituye el punto de partida de la sintesis de unas serie de nuevos beta-aminoalcoholes quirales con eje de simetria c-2, que pueden utilizarse como catalizadores o ligandos en distintos procesos. La adicion enantioselectiva de dietilzinc y de diversos reactivos de reformatsky a aldehidos y cetonas en presencia de dichos aminoalcoholes conduce a la sintesis de alcoholes secundarios, beta-hidroxiesteres, alfa, alfa-difluoro-beta-hidroxiesteres y n-metil-n-metoxi-beta-hidroxiamidas opticamente activas con buenos rendimientos quimicos y excesos enantiomericos que dependen de la estructura del catalizador o ligando.  la reaccion de n,n-dibencilaminoaldehidos con dietilzinc constituye un metodo de sintesis diastereoselectiva de sin 1,2-aminoalcoholes, con buenos rendimientos quimicos y alto grado de diastereoselectividad.
