La caracteristica fundamental del desarrollo es la clara separacion entre la formulacion general de la geometria variacional y la definicion de cada entidad geometrica, permitiendo construir un gestor independiente de restricciones con un interfaz con los objetos geometricos en la forma habitual en que se representan en la industria, explotando el concepto de variable de modelado.  ademas, se desarrolla y formula una aplicacion de alto interes industrial como es el analisis de tolerancias, siendo la primera aplicacion, en lo que alcanza nuestro conocimiento, que es variacional y soporta solido b-rep y ensamblados de componentes. Ademas se ha desarrollado una tecnica analitica exacta que permite evaluar campos de velocidades en objetos tridimensionales para hacer posible su integracion en sistemas de dise\u00f1o optimo de
