Estas estrategias se han aplicado en lazo abierto (composicion) y en lazo cerrado (composicion y pesos moleculares). Se ha desarrollado una estrategia de optimacion, que permite obtener copolimeros de composicion variable en el tiempo minimo de proceso. La optimacion proporciona las cantidades optimas de los monomeros que deben existir en el reactor en cada instante. Esta estrategia se ha comprobado por simulacion matematica en la copolimerizacion de estireno (st) y acrilato de butilo (abu). Se ha demostrado, que en la polimerizacion en emulsion de estireno (st), empleando tetracloruro de carbono (cci4) como agente de transferencia, la distribucion de pesos moleculares solo depende de la relacion de concentraciones en las particulas de st y cci4. En estas condiciones, puede realizarse un control analogo al empleado para controlar la composicion. Se ha dise\u00f1ado una estrategia de control en lazo cerrado que permite obtener la distribucion de pesos moleculares en tiempo minimo. En esta estrategia, la optimacion proporciona las cantidades de st y cci4 que debe haber en el reactor en funcion de la conversion.
