Para ello, se han seleccionado tres fases representativas de la larga secuencia, y se ha analizado cada una de ellas en base a medidas de difraccion de rayos x y neutrones. Una vez que se disponia de la informacion estructural de todas estas fases, se ha llevado a cabo un estudio comparativo de las distorsiones presentes en ellas. Este analisis ha mostrado que la estructura interna del modo primario permanece practicamente invariable a lo largo de la secuencia de fases, produciendose unicamente un aumento de su amplitud global a medida que nos situamos a temperaturas mas bajas.
