en un estudio monografico sobre la faceta del compositor y folklorista resurreccion maria de azkue y aberasturi, una minuciosa biografia sobre sus quehaceres musicales, la catalogacion y estudio de sus composiciones, sus escritos y su concepcion estetico-musical.  la tesis esta articulada en tres bloques de contenidos.  el primero esta compuesto por la introduccion en la cual se analiza la realidad sociocultural y musical del pais vasco, el segundo comprende todo el estudio de su obra, examen de sus escritos, estudios y trabajos sobre la musica popular vasca, incluyendo una breve historiografia y estado de la cuestion desde 1850 a 1950.  en el tercer bloque se recogen las conclusiones, la bibliografia, un indice onomastico de ilustraciones y de graficos; el catalogo de su
