En su analisis aplicamos la metodolog\u00eda del imaginario o estructuralismo figurativo, formulado por gilbert durand. Consideramos con el que toda obra de arte (por lo tanto tambien la literaria) es producto del imaginario del hombre, estructurado a partir de ciertos tipos de representacion simbolica. Estos tipos se derivan de las diferentes actitudes de la imaginacion humana ante la realidad, el mundo, el tiempo y la muerte.  se corresponden con los gestos biologicos y reflexologicos dominantes del psiquismo humano (postural, digestivo y sexual) y con su proyeccion en medio social y cosmico. En torno a ellos se generan esquemas, arquetipos, simbolos, mitos y estructuras que van a integrarse en dos regimenes de la imagen: diurno y nocturno. A su vez, el nocturno se subordina en regimen mistico y regimen sintetico. De esta forma, el regimen diurno esta estructurado por la dominante postural y su figura representativa sera el heroe, que lucha y combate contra el tiempo. El regimen mistico se corresponde con la dominante digestiva y constituye una actitud intima que eufemiza el tiempo, niega su negatividad.
