La incorporacion del peptido de fusion del vih-1 en la membrana blanco permitiria la interaccion simultanea de la proteina gp41 con la membrana viral y la membrana celular. Una cuestion no resuelta es si la funcion de esta secuencia seria unicamente la de actuar como un anclaje inerte que posibilita dicha interaccion o si, ademas, seria capaz de perturbar la organizacion lamelar de la membrana celular dando inicio al proceso de fusion viral.  el objetivo primordial de esta tesis es estudiar el efecto desestabilizante del peptido de fusion con membranas modelo como una
