Las obras conservadas, tanto en soporte mural como tabla, se han agrupado en diferentes corrientes estilisticas:  gotico lineal, gotico internacional, gotico final y, por ultimo, el grupo de pinturas que se mantiene al margen de estas corrientes goticas y que se caracteriza por un fuerte caracter popular.  estas obras estan comprendidas desde mediados del siglo xiv hasta los primeros a\u00f1os del siglo xvi. Presentan como caracteristicas comunes su retraso cronologico, la escasez de los restos conservados y de la calidad estilistica en relacion a la pintura de otras tareas -salvando quizas como excepcion el gotico lineal- su buena calidad tecnica, una mayoria de temas de iconografia religiosa y un fuerte sentido decorativo que busca en numerosas ocasiones tan solo cubrir el paramento.
