En el, se ha propuesto un metodo para el analisis de la fiabilidad en estructuras complejas que no permiten la formulacion del criterio de fallo mediante una funcion de estado limite analitica de forma explicita.  para lograr este objetivo se han integrado diferentes tecnicas de estimacion de la fiabilidad estructural en el metodo de los elementos finitos (mef) obteniendo, a traves de esta union, el denominado metodo de los elementos finitos probabilisticos (mefp). Como resultado de esta integracion se ha demostrado a lo largo del desarrollo de este trabajo como puede obtenerse la respuesta estadistica de una estructura donde previamente han sido contemplada la variabilidad de los parametros que intervienen en ella.  se ha incluido una metodolog\u00eda para la modelizacion y el analisis de la fiabilidad de estructuras que cuentan con parametros aleatorios distribuidos espacialmente. Estos parametros hansido modelizados como campos aleatorios y discretizados en un vector de variables aleatorias correlacionadas entre si.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos acad\u00e9micos de la tesis
