Se ha determinado la naturaleza y cantidad de grupos funcionales superficiales mediante valoraciones conductimetricas. Se ha comprobado la estabilidad quimica de los grupos funcionales superficiales durante el periodo de almacenamiento.  tambien se ha verificado el caracter hidrofilico relativo superficial de los latex con funcionalidad acetal. Ademas se ha determinado la estabilidad coloidal a partir de medidas de concentracion critica de coagulacion.
