La mayor respuesta bronquial se observo en los asmaticos, en el minuto 10 postejercicio. Habia diferencias significativas entre la caida del pef en asmaticos y no asmaticos (p menor 0,00001).  existio correlacion alta entre valores del pef y metacolina. Con el analisis de regresion se calcularon ecuaciones y=a+bx. Con las curvas roc se obtuvieron los puntos ideales: en c.L una caida del pef del 8% y i.L.B.  de 13% y en c.S.F. Caida del pef del 6% e ilb del 11%.  conclusiones: 1) los tests de ejercicio, sobretodo c.L.  producen un mayor broncoespasmo en asmaticos que en no asmaticos. 2) existe alta correlacion entre valores de metacolina y las variables de respuesta bronquial (pef y ilb), medidas en los minutos 10 y 15 post-ejercicio. 3) en la c.L. El punto de corte ideal se establece en una caida del pef igual al 8% y en un ilb de 13%. En la c.S.F. La mayor s y e se alcanza con caidas del pef de un 6% y un ilb del 11%.  4) la carrera libre es un metodo valido de aproximacion al diagnostico de asma en el medio escolar y centros de
