Esta sustancia se administro a ratas neonatales en dosis de 50 mg\/kg s.C. Y dos meses despues se emplearon para el estudio. Tambien se uso la perfusion intragastrica de 0.4 mg\/ml\/min, durante 10 min, en ratas adultas. La metodolog\u00eda principal consistio en la medicion de la secrecion acida estimulada por distension gastrica, proteinas (caseina), secretagogos (histamina, pentagastrina y carbacol), hipoglucemia (insulina).  el analisis de los resultados permite concluir: 1) las neuronas sensoriales aferentes sensibles a capsaicina median la respuesta secretora acida en la rata in vivo estimulada por distension gastrica y proteinas. 2) la ablacion funcional por capsaicina de estas neuronas no modifica la secrecion gastrica en respuesta a hipoglucemia y secretagogos. 3) el nervio vago y el ganglio celiaco son dos vias nerviosas principales en el proceso de secrecion acida mediada por estas neuronas. 4) la disminucion de la secrecion acida por capsaicina intraluminal indica la presencia de
