Para conocer la estructura de la comunidad del fitoplancton se realizo un estudio taxonomico que revelo la existencia de 58 taxones, de los cuales 15 han sido citas nuevas para espa\u00f1a. Se describieron sus distribuciones, se estudio el indice de diversidad, la heterogeneidad vertical, las agrupaciones de especies y las correspondencias, obteniendose con ello las facetas de distribucion y orden de los elementos necesarias para describir la estructura. Se estudiaron asimismo las clases de tama\u00f1o del seston con la intencion de encontrar un isomorfismo estructural con la comunidad de fitoplancton. Con todos estos resultados se pudieron caracterizar siete estructuras diferentes de la comunidad.
