Aeruginosa). Los estudios se llevaron a cabo \u00abin vitro\u00bb (modelo de dilucion y de membranas en placa) e \u00abin vivo\u00bb (modelo de infeccion en muslo de raton neutropenico). Ademas se estudio la correlacion que podia existir entre algunos parametros farmacocineticos y la eficacia antimicrobiana. Los antibioticos utilizados fueron meropenem (un carbapenem) y ciprofloxacino (una 4-quinolona). Los resultados de efecto postantibiotico tanto \u00abin vitro\u00bb como \u00abin vivo\u00bb fueron significativamente mayores con ciprofloxacino que con meropenem. Los efectos de concentraciones sub-cmi tambien fueron mas apreciables con la quinolona que con meropenem. La morfolog\u00eda con e.  coli cambio con la exposicion a los dos antimicrobianos, produciendose filamentacion o formacion de formas cocoides respectivamente. Con s. Aureus la morfolog\u00eda fue la de formas anormalmente grandes con los dos antimicrobianos.
