El capitulo ii es un recorrido historico desde la creacion del goncourt y del femina, ademas de otros grandes premios: grand prix du roman, renaudot, interallie y medicis, hasta 1960. Con el capitulo iii entramos propiamente en la decada escogida, con ambientaciones historicas y estudios literarios de las diez novelas galardonadas. El capitulo iv se centra en la presentacion del comite \u00abfemina\u00bb, con declaraciones recogidas de algunas de las damas que lo componian entonces y una encuesta hecha a las que actualmente forman el jurado, asi como al secretario general. Se explican los mecanismos de votacion, sus opiniones acerca de lo literario, etc. El capitulo v recoge una vision sociologica sobre la novela y su publico, las politicas editoriales, las relacionesentrela critica y los premios, ademas de la coexistencia, en aquella decada, con dos fenomenos como el \u00abnouveau roman\u00bb y \u00abmai 68\u00bb. Concluimos desvelando relaciones entre los aspectos sociologicos tratados y el hecho propiamente literario de los premios femina.
