Para ello se ha desarrollado una version tridimensional del modelo numerico de ecuaciones primitivas promes (pronostico a mesoescala), con inclusion de nuevos esquemas numericos. El modelo se ha adaptado a la zona centro de la peninsula iberica. Se han realizado diez simulaciones, en las que se ha prestado particular atencion al flujo forzado sobre obstaculos orograficos y al generado por diferencias horizontales de calentamiento debido a la inclinacion del terreno.  los resultados se han comparado con las observaciones disponibles, y se ha realizado una aplicacion al estudio del transporte de contaminantes mediante el calculo de
