Asuncion <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>El objetivo de este trabajo ha sido realizar un analisis detallado de las propiedades espectroscopicas del ion cr(iii) en dos familias de vidrios fluoruros de metales pesados: los vidrios fluorozirconatos y los vidrios basados en fluoruro de indio. Para ello, se han realizado medidas de absorcion optica, luminiscencia a regimen continuo y luminiscencia a regimen pulsado, a diferentes temperaturas.  las conclusiones obtenidas se pueden resumir:  a) el ion cr(iii) en los vidrios fluoruros de metales pesados tiene un campo cristalino debil, teniendo su estado fundamental un entorno casi octaedrico.  b) la eficiencia cuantica de estos materiales es muy baja a temperatura ambiente, debido a procesos no radiativos de tipo multifononico.
