Los procesos de escorificacion, consistentes en la formacion de depositos sometidos a la irradiacion de la llama, son actualmente bien conocidos a nivel de ingenieria de proyecto. Restan no obstante las situaciones en que el dise\u00f1o es inadecuado o ha cambiado la calidad del carbon. La tesis es una aportacion a la solucion de tales casos mediante el estudio de una instalacion real con problemas graves de fusion de escorias. El analisis se divide en tres partes:  -1 estudio teorico + experimental de los metodos instrumentales de deteccion de los depositos (medida del flujo de calor) -2 desarrollo y aplicacion de
