En ambos experimentos los animales recibieron la paja \u00abad libitum\u00bb, como unico alimento o suplementados con 150, 300, 450 y 600 g\/d de suplemento (experimento 1) o 200, 400 y 600 g\/d (experimento 2), siguiendo un dise\u00f1o factorial en el que los niveles de suplemento se estudiaron en cuadrado latino.  los resultados muestran un efecto positivo del tratamiento sobre la ingestion y digestibilidad de la paja. La suplementacion afecto de forma negativa a la degradabilidad de la paja en rumen y a la ingestion voluntaria, determinandose las tasas de sustitucion para cada uno de los suplementos, superior con la paja tratada que con la no tratada. Se discuten las respuestas en ingestion, digestibilidad y degradabilidad a partir de los parametros relativos a las caracteristicas de la fermentacion en el rumen.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Datos
