Estos son el acido metoxifenilacetico (mfa) y el ibuprofen (ibu), dos farmacos de reconocida actividad antiinflamatoria, analgesica, antipiretica y antitrombogenica, los cuales estan unidos covalentemente a una matriz polimerica acrilica. En el dise\u00f1o de la sintesis se ha considerado la inclusion del resto 4-aminofenoxi (un metabolito del paracetamol) como espaciador entre el resto metacrilico portador del doble enlace y la droga, con el fin de potenciar la respuesta farmacologica y de facilitar la hidrolisis en la cadena lateral. Los sistemas biocompatibles preparados estan siendo estudiados por diferentes grupos de investigacion en farmacolog\u00eda y medicina para diversas aplicaciones como biomateriales de interes biomedico. Se estan estudiando los efectos farmacologicos mas caracteristicos de estas drogas: analgesia, inflamacion, efecto antipiretico y agregacion plaquetaria. Hay que destacar que los sistemas son activos en su forma macromolecular y mantienen su accion durante tiempos superiores a los de los farmacos convencionales.
