En primer lugar se determinan todas las identidades de grado menor o igual que cuatro satisfechas por las mutaciones de algebras asociativas, obteniendose como consecuencia algunas propiedades de las algebras de la variedad que estas generan. En segundo lugar se aborda el estudio de la estructura de las mutaciones de algebras asociativas en relacion con la del algebra asociativa original. En particular se analizan los ideales primos y maximales, los homomorfismos y las derivaciones de tales algebras.  en la tercera parte de la memoria se dilucida la estructura de las mutaciones de algebras alternativas en terminos de un radical resoluble y la determinacion de las algebras cociente. Finalmente se aplica la teoria desarrollada en la determinacion de nuevas familias de algebras de division de las que se estudia el algebra de derivaciones y el grupo de
