En la presente tesis se realiza un estudio experimental en gatos a los que en una primera fase se les efectua una electromanometria en condiciones basales y en una segunda se crea un modelo experimental in vivo al efectuar al animal una toracofrenolaparotomia con reseccion de la membrana frenoesofagica y fundopexia anterior realizando nuevamente electromanometria en condiciones experimentales.  al mismo modelo experimental en una tercera fase se le efectua una ligadura del piloro, con gastrostomia en antro a traves de la cual se instila agua destilada a volumenes conocidos de: 25,50,75,100,125,150 ml.
