Para ello se realizaron 10 experiencias, las cuales tenian como objetivo: estudiar el efecto del tratamiento con urea sobre la composicion quimica y la calidad nutritiva de la paja, comparandolo con el efecto del tratamiento con amoniaco anhidro, asi como determinar las condiciones tecnicas optimas (dosis, humedad, temperatura y adiccion de una fuente externa de ureasas) para la realizacion del tratamiento con urea. Un ultimo objetivo era buscar posibles alternativas a la forma clasica de realizacion del tratamiento (urea en forma solida, eliminacion del recubrimiento plastico y tratamiento de rotopacas). Los resultados mostraron que el tratamiento con urea era viable y que habia una interrelacion entre humedad, temperatura y adicion de una fuente de ureasas.  los tratamientos realizados con alguna
